You’ve heard of Net Zero Buildings, the ones that through the use of better building practices and the harnessing of solar, geothermal and wind energy produce as much energy as they use? Well, Delridge Homes of Markham is building something that produces excess energy, a “Net Positive” building.

For years now, Del Ridge Homes has been using leading edge envelope technology to both control the building process and to build buildings  that are greener, use less energy and will last for generations. They initially did this through the use of Insulated Concrete Forms, once an alternative form of building envelope construction, now becoming more and more popular as the solution to building better to meet the new Model Energy Code. Now they are pulling every trick in the book to build better.
